god, thats insufferably arrogant. You think i read your posts three
times to confirm ii havent misread something? Instead of sarcastically
saying "oh dear" (it ill becomes you and sounds like some prat in a
smoking jacket) you could have just said the 16 is 8 each way (which
is inaccurate anyway) how about something sensible about the
substantive content beyond "driving is boring"?

I'll re-answer your original comments:-

if you take in what im saying you will see that the time on the ferry
is part of the positive side of the trip, not time wasted, you only
lose a handful of hours on Saturday if your interests are typical of
those who go to Shetland

just as many others find the process of commercial flying more tedious
with its security restrictions, luggage rerstrictions and space
restrictions.

repeat visits are a different thing, we were talking about holidays
and driving enthusuasts dont want some tedious hire car.
