I find very long flights (around 8 hours or more) tedious, especially
when on a full plane. However, for most European flights, you're barely
settled and then the aircraft starts descending! :)
No matter how many times I fly, I have a kind of childlike love of it,
and you often get unique views when you get a window seat. I've flown
from Barcelona to Liverpool quite a few times over completely clear
skies, and it's an incredible sight IMO. Similarly, a few cloudless
trips over the alps were amazing.
