I can think of other things- I have to do a lot of reading and
concentrated listening in my line of work. Even on a relatively noisy
flight, I was surprised at how much work I could get done. Trains are
the best, though admittedly, I usually travel on quite comfortable 'non
rush hour' services where I can get a seat, and a table to put the
laptop on. Such as the one I'm on now...
