In my mind, the obvious suggestion would be to visit the Yucatan... ruins
include Chichen Itza and beaches include Cancun.

Other options include pairing up Monte Alban with Huatulco, or perhaps
Teotihuacan with Puerto Vallarta.

That is a start but your best bet is to look up some weather statistics
(monthly average high & low temperatures and also precipitation) for a few
of the resort towns. Also keep in mind that the beaches will be much busier
during certain weeks (ex spring break or la semana santa) than they will the
rest of the time
