I need to vent. My daughter is moving to Argentina to live with her
boyfriend. Don't ask me how she plans on making money cause I refuse to be
a money machine. Buenos Aires is so far away and I am a little illiterate
when it comes to the area. I don't know anything about the region. Emily is
25, and her boyfriend is 28. They are both old enough to make their own
decisions, but as her mom I just don't feel right about it. We don't know
enough about this man to feel truly comfortable.
I also have a couple practical questions: What kind of job can an American
get in Argentina? How do Argentinian men treat women on a whole? When are
the cheapest times of the year to fly to Buenos Aires - we plan on flying
down there as soon as we can? What kind of phone service should I use to
call that far away? Am I just being a worrisome mother, or do I have legit
feelings? K
