Stimp
The Fender factory in Ensenada is incredible! Except for the pick
ups, the Mexican Fenders are the same high quality as other Fenders.
The "plant" hires 800 workers, maybe more, since I saw it. It's
almost a city in it's self. Most of the employees play guitar. The
worker like to work there.
When they've done their daily production, they can leave. They can
put in an 8hr day in six hours. The line is a half mile long, any time
they need help.
My tour of the factory was one of the most interesting I've done, in
Mexico, or anywhere else!
I hope you'll report back on how much money you save. My guess, is
Musician's friend would sell Mex Fenders priced about the same......
yours for guitar factory tours
