poster Kaye, you should probably go visit Argentina. It might provide
insight for you and put you at ease with your daughter's decision. The
people and food are both fascinating and tasty. As far as phone service,
if you plan on calling each other much you should probably avoid cell
phones and get yourself an international phone plan that can work both
ways. I use OneSuite, www.onesuite.com, to call South America all the
time, and when I am away on business in Argentina I can also use it from
there. That means your daughter has no excuse not to call you! As for
jobs, well it depends on many factors. She should probably scope out the
job market before delving in, but it sounds like she made her decision
already. Try not to worry so much, as soon as you visit, you will worry
less - meaning, book your airline ticket as soon as possible.
