I traveled 8 1/2 months in Mexico, didn't begin to see it all. One
thought---start in Mexico city and go see your host family in
Guanajuato and stop in San Miguel de Allende. Then head to Queretaro
and on to Tequisquiapan and up into the mountains into the Sierra Gorda
region to a village called Bernal. I guarantee you won't see any
gringos, but fantastic cloud forest and other ecological areas as well
as some small ruins. Then head back through DF to Puebla and ruins of
Cholula and then on to the State of Veracruz. Too much there to tell of
here. Then down to the ruins of Palenque and on to San Cristobal de las
Casas. From here either loop up around the Yucatan and down the
carribean cost to Chetumal or cut across the peninsula to Chetumal and
go down through Belize to Guatamala and on to Tikal. That's about 3
months worth right there. You can figure the rest out by then. Have fun.
