Our daughter tried to draw 2000 pesos from a cash machine and the
machine went wrong somehow, and didn't issue any money.
Meanwhile, the transaction has been booked off her checking account.
She complained to the bank in Mexico, after some talking to various
people, they found that yes, the ATM had registered an error at that
time, but they couldn't refund the money, she would have to get her own
bank to contra the transaction.
Guess what her bank says - no, they can't issue a contra, she has to
get the money from the bank in Mexico.
Anyone know how to get out of this mess?
