"Original" would be difficult to find these days, but a bit primitive is
still possible. To get real deep into the Amazon jungle you would need the
higher end adventure tour operators. However, for more budget and still
somewhat rustic and intriguing, we used the Explorama group. We were there
in May so we pretty much had the run of the place -- excellent off-season
time.
