Subject: Re: Amazon Rainforest--Peru or Bolivia? Please help Posted on: Sun, 5 Mar 2006 20:52:03 +0000 (UTC)

A great place to go is Kapawi. You have to take a plane from Quito,
Ecuador to the jungle and then take a small boat into the lodge. This
is a venture between the Shuar and an ecoturism company in Ecuador.
The management of the place will be turned back to the Shuar in 2008.
No strings attached.

Also if you want to go rafting in the jungle go to

Rivers in the jungle are usually unspoiled because it is really hard to
get to them and are unnavegable by normal commercial boats. You can
get into these rivers by raft or kayak only.

Have fun!
