Fact is there are literally thousands of miles of virgin beach on the west
coast, and yes, Chiapas was still there the last time I was down.Best place
to hit the beach in Chiapas is Puerto Arista, a sleepy village well prepared
to deal with tourists, even though very few ever get there except for Easter
week and Xmas week. Twenty eight kms. of the cleanest sand you've ever seen.
One of the best walking beaches on the planet. Its a very slow place, with
nightlife consisting of whether or not the taco stand is open. Its also a
shrimp fishing area, with lots of excellent seafood. If anyone wants more
info or pictures, drop me an email at

Punta de Mita isn't bad, if you like no-see-ums...........
