Hello -- I'm new to this group.

A few questions. I'm thinking about traveling to Peru this summer for
about ten days, primarily to see machu picchu. I wonder if I should
also travel down into Chile or should I simply concentrate on Peru?
Also, I've read that Lima can be a little dangerous for tourists. Can
anyone comment on that?
