Subject: Costa Rica with a young family? Posted on: Tue, 18 Apr 2006 21:12:04 EDT

We are thinking about going to Costa Rica for a month in the summer of 2007.
We thought maybe planting ourselves in a location, rent a house for the
duration, explore from there, scuba dive (for me), beach comb, soak in the
culture...

How out to lunch with this idea are we? What part of the country would be a
good spot to stay in? Any suggestions for specific houses, or agencies?

If Costa Rica is not the best choice of destination in Central/South America
then we'd love to hear other suggestions.

Any advice and thought are appreciated.
