A gal I teach with was accompanying her daughter to Cancun along with
three other high school seniors and their mothers for Spring Break. She
was carrying her Canadian passport and Green Card to work/live in the
U.S. She was denied entry into Mexico, saying she was to be their
"example of the day!" They let the 17 year old daughter stay, but
accompanied my friend immediately to a plane back to the U.S. and seated
her on it, giving her ID to the stewardess to keep. My friend was
humiliated and found herself in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. when the plane
landed and then had to make arrangements to get home to Detroit! BEWARE
