Yeah that was a bit odd, we went out to dinner, and found ourselves
sitting at a coffee shop for a few hours before going out.
I'd definetely recommend taking the Buquebus boat to Colonia or
Montevideo for a day or overnight trip.
Also the subway is a great way to get up and down the northwest side of
town (Recoleta, Palermo, etc), and down to San Telmo.
Cabs are safe and a very easy (and cheap) way to get around, just know
your cross streets and it's no problem, but except some crazy driving
:)
