He should keep in mind that any car he buys in Mexico is likely to NOT meet
U.S. Import Specs, and could turn into a nightmare if he wants to bring it
back to the U.S. later. Also, if he buys in the states and temporarily
imports it into Mexico, then he'll likely have to deal with renewing his
temporary import papers every six months. If it were me, I think I'd buy a
nice little used VW or Nissan down there, use it, and sell it before I came
