Just my opinion, but if you are going to be living in Mexico for as
long as two years and you will have an FM3, I recommend purchasing the
vehicle in Mexico.

When you are ready to leave, sell it.

Used cars retain their value a lot more in Mexico than they do in
Canada or the US. So it's almost a bargain to buy and sell since it
doesn't really depreciate much if you take care of your vehicle.

Not to mention, with Mexican plates, you will most likely get harrassed
a lot less!
