I am considering spending a month in Buenos Aires, and would like to
take
up a Spanish Class. I found some candidate classes, but wanted to get
some opinions on the value of learning the Argentinian version of
Spanish -
use of vos instead of tu, and pronouncing ll as ch instead of y.
I am more keen to learn Mexican spanish, but circumstances lead me to
a long stay in Buenos Aires, not Mexico.
So, is this a real issue? Does it matter that I'll end up with Spanish
from
Argentina, or is that not an major issue if I will be mainly using it
in Mexico, Costa Rica?
I have around 40 hours of classes under my belt, but that is nothing,
still hard to converse even with taxi drivers, but can get basic ideas
across.
Will be spending 4 weeks in a class next, 80 hours total, so wondering
if
Buenos Aires classes would be fine, or should I try to stick to Mexico?
