The short answer is, No, it is not a real issue. There is more that just
"vos" that makes Argentine Spanish different; the verb form in the
second-person singular is different, as is the imperative. You will very
likely learn these differences, but they will be teaching you "Spanish," not
"Argentine Spanish." You won't come out of it speaking a variant that will
put you at a disadvantage; if anything, it should be an enriching
experience.
