Subject: Travel advice for Costa Rica Posted on: Thu, 12 Apr 2007 15:23:17 +0000 (UTC)

Hi,

I'll be in Costa Rica for only a week and would like to visit Arenal,
Monteverde, and the Guanacaste coast. The shuttles that I've found
advertised online seem pretty expensive. Considering I'll be doing
all this traveling in such a short period of time, I wonder if it will
be less expensive and easier just to rent a car.

I would really appreciate some advice.

Will it be possible just to get a taxi to Arenal at the Liberia
airport that will be less than the $125 for a private shuttle?

Would people recommend just renting a car?

Thanks,
Tim
