Thank you for the info, guys. I will be sure to bring the repellant
anyway since Tarapoto isn=B4t so far; never know, maybe we will head
that way.
I still don=B4t have all the info I need before the trip (to Chachapoyas
around the 15th of May) as the travel compaines are not exactly giving
me the answers. They seem aimed at selling packages to tourists who
are interested in shopping and museums and who want someone else to
carry their camping gear (not my style). Anyway I always think it is
nice to know the details beforehand, so if anybody else has any
insights, that would be great. I am looking for silence and isolation
in the nature. I already have my own band to travel with; we just want
to know about getting from one place to the other (combis, micros,
colectivos) as this will be the first time. We are local people so we
hope for local prices, nothing fancy.
