I'm starting to toy with the idea of acting like a 60yo
backpacker, taking intermedio buses from town to town
without detailed planning or pre-booking; moving from Cancun
to Mexico City via as many interesting towns as possible
over 8 or 9 nights.

It's that, or pick a couple of intermediate towns for three
or four nights each and do day trips from them. Still
playing with the idea.
