I'm going to Santiago for a tour; however, since I'm going that far I
thought maybe it might be good to see the Galapagos--maybe a 5 day
excursion. Am I going to increase my flight costs significantly? It seems
like whenever I think about that within the US, fares shoot up over what one
might arrange by, say, two different airlines.
My trip is in mid-Nov. I know a little about the trip to the Galapagos. I
think one flies from Quito to some island and then books a tour boat that
goes out every day to various islands. Anyone have any idea what the air
cost is or boat tour costs are? I've heard to that you don't exactly dock at
the small islands. It's more like landing on a beach military style.
