Subject: Getting from airport to Valparaiso - must we first go to Santiago? Posted on: Sat, 29 Sep 2007 13:45:00 +0000 (UTC)

I checked out the Turbus schedule and it seems that it is impossible
to get on a bus at the Santiago airport (which is west of the city)
that will take us directly to Valparaiso (which is further west). We
evidently must go into downtown Santiago, then take a different bus to
Valparaiso, re-traversing at least 13 miles of the same highway.

Or is there another bus company that does go directly west from the
airport?
