People often think, well, I'm in a committed relationship and I'm not going
to get a blood transfusion, why should I need a Hep B shot? What they
should think about is whether or not they are going to be going to any spas,
getting any manicures, pedicures, tatoos or body piercings. Frankly, for
what is involved, just get the vacination. Anyone that hasn't had their Hep
A, can get the TwinRix (HepA&B).
Certainly one should finish taking the course of shots, however, there is
some immunity from the first shot. Therefore, if you think it is too late to
start your shots before your trip, think again.
