Yesterday, I experienced cheap shopping and nightlife in Mumbai. It
is 45 Rupees to the US Dollar.
I had a tea at WestSide (Rs 30, 45 cents) in air-conditioned comfort
with my friend (another Rs 80 for her cold-coffee with ice-cream).
Westside formal shirts / and night-life shirts are Rupees 599 Rupees
799.
So then we boarded an 84 Limited bus for Bandra where in one shop you
get formal shirts (unknown material they claim it is 60% cotton) for
Rupees 399.
En-route I was looking for Rs 100 (USD 2.10) shirts. So I went to
Bombay Fashions, opposite SEEPZ ANDHERI EAST and got the shirts for Rs
100 each----- but the color is running off from the red shirt
(fantastic design) when I soaked it in water ---- Bombay Fashions is
also selling T-SHIRTS for Rupees 30.
Then I came back to Bandra where we shopped somewhere for a handloom
(yes handloom) night-gown stitched to order in ONE DAY for Rupees 150
(the person raised the price from Rs 130 to Rs 150 ) when he heard we
were traveling by TAXI and went to GLOBUS FASHIONS, Bandra to freshen
up and see the latest styles in Air-conditioned comfort.
Then we went for a meal to LUCKY RESTAURANT, BANDRA ---- price Rs 430
inclusive of tip (tip is 5% rounded downwards). LUCKY RESTAURANT, air-
conditioned comfort had some musty smell in the air-conditioned place
sight.
Then returned by taxi.
Saw some DLF Cricket (looks like every night is IPL cricket night)
applied OLD URINE (see urine therapy on wikipedia/google) in the head
(gives good sleep) just 2 tea-spoons and at the back of the head where
the foramen-magnum is or where the nerves enter the head and went to
sleep.
WHAT about my LINUX project ?
I think it works fine for internet ---- but I am not interested in
FREE MUSIC via magnatunes.com so I guess, the internet is stable.
I still don't know how to add a user to the LINUX KDE 4.04 interface.
