There are three main languages in the world today, and they are
English, Chinese and Spanish. These three languages currently dominate
the literate world. In this article we will attempt to look at the
future of languages and what it means for human communication.
In our world, English is of course the dominant language. Chinese is
second of the large population of China while Spanish is the third
most common language because of its widespread use around the world.
Today we are seeing the start of the mixture of English and Spanish in
the US, and it is likely that this trend will continue to rise and the
English language in the US will use many Spanish words. Of the surveys
viewed during the time of writing, the most popular language that
people were interested to learn was Spanish. This not only applies to
the US, but also in Europe.
'Spanglish', as is the term for the combination of English and
Spanish, will certainly become more and more popular in the future. In
time to come, as many as 30% of words used in the United States may be
Spanish....
