We are planning a trip next March to Patagonia. We would like to visit
both Torres del Paine in Chile and Los Glaciares in Argentina but
getting between them appears to be time consuming and difficult. We
plan to fly into El Calafate as this is the easiest airport from
Tierra del Fuego. From what I can see crossing the Chile Argentine
border is the problem. Is it possible to visit both parks? Is there a
recommended way to do this? Are there tours that do both? Should we
give up on Torres de Paine and do another park in Argentina? We plan
to do several day hikes as we are not backpackers.
