Ipanema Hotel Dilemma/X-Mas in Rio Posted on: 2 Jul 2003 20:45:13 GMT

I have it narrowed down to the Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza or the Praia
Ipanema, can anyone suggest one over the other? Price is not a factor
as they are both the same. I am going for 5 nights over x-mas with my
brother(both in our late 20's) unfortunately unable to stay for New
Years.

Also is there anything about x-mas in Rio that we should know about?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
