Every time I have had to go to downtown San Jose from the airport late at
night I have stayed at the Hotel Marlyn (Caille 4, Ave 7 Y 9). This is a low
budget hotel. This is an honest hotel! Great breakfast place just up the
street and one of the best 'famly' bars in San Jose accross the street.
Short walk to anywhere in downtown. Try it . You *will* like it. Be sure to
get a room at the rear of the hotel.

Regards.
