Did Expedia imply that they could appropriately handle all connections?
Did Expedia imply that they would make your trip easier?
Did Expedia imply that they knew what they were doing?

What is the limit of small claims court awards in your area?

Does you state have a 'Consumer Sales act/Deceptive Practices' section in
it's revised code?
