You have to read the fine prints. Call my cynical, I am very
skeptical of the fare. Last Christmas, all five of us flew to Rio via
AA at the web advertized fare of $297 for our family vacation. When
all taxes were included, it was actually $400 and change for each
passenger. But I would not complain about the $400 fare either.

Don't forget if you are a US citizen, there is $100 each for getting a
Visa to Brazil.
