For Guatemala, anyway, I'd say about 3 times higher. Central America is very
expensive compared to India, let alone the cheap parts of Asia. Transport is
cheap, but food is very expensive. The cheapest possible meals (what you
might pay 20 cents for in southeast Asia) are about US$2.
