Hi,...I will be visiting Cuba for the first time in November. I will
be travelling solo, and I have booked for the first 3 nights in the
Hotel Inglaterra in old Havana. My first proority is to be safe at all
times, but apart from that, my interests are music, dancing, learning
conversational Spanish...meeting the real people....possibly visiting
other parts of Havana, and getting a feel for the island, and its
people. Ultimately, I would love to find somewhere where I could stay
, possibly on future trips,...for long periods over 2 mths....where
it is affordable, and clean and safe...say a small family run hotel,
or b&b...where I can learn lots of Spanish, and perhaps learn to
Salsa....a sort of home from home, as it were.
This trip will be only for 2 weeks,...so I am hoping for
recommendations, tips, and contacts............................
Please let me know about the best cuban music night spots, in Havana
and other places, and any other advice.....I'm hoping for a real
adventure..........
thanks,
