Yes I know of a real good deal in the heart of town (nice neighborhood
not dangerous) from a mate of mine who has a spanish school
I think he might have stuff from $8 a night

Right next to our school Spanish Learning Center we have an apartment
with rooms that we normally rent to students. It is on a quiet street
in the city's best neighborhood right next to the main business area.
Within a 5 minute walk you will find all the : services banks,
restaurants, supermarkets, nightlife and a park.
We have 5 rooms to rent altogether.
3 are large doubles which come completely furnished and can include
cable TV.
There is a shared kitchen with stove and microwave, breakfast area and
telephone. The bathrooms are also shared.
Plenty of parking is available on the street as well as at the rear of
the building.
The price of a double is $70 a week or $240 a month, one small single
is available for $50 week or $150 month (a refundable security deposit
of $90 is required)
