We were in Vallarta in August one year and every afternoon clouds would build
and then it would rain like hell for anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours,
sometimes into the night. That's the way it is in a jungle in the rainy
season, so just go with the flow and try to do all your sightseeing earlier in
the day. It was always humid early but never rained until later.
