After having thought that each of the booking sites were having
problems I discovered that there is indeed a convention. We managed to
get a room at Chilhotel in Santiago, it is in Providencia, from the
5th to the 8th of November. Website www.chilhotel.cl Have no idea if
it is good, bad or indifferent, it looks nice. You can try it, if you
don't feel like driving looking for a beach town.
