Subject: Guatemala and Honduras Posted on: Thu, 4 Dec 2003 22:43:14 +0000 (UTC)

Hello all,

I am taking a major trip next summer to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and
Honduras. Mexico and Belize are not problems, but I was a bit curious
for advice about spending extensive periods in the remaining two
countries. I have been to Guatemala to see Tikal, but this time I was
hoping to stretch out a bit and see a few more of the ruins in that
north eastern sector of the country, as well as the biosphere reserve
in the north. As to Honduras, I am very eager to see Copan and
perhaps visit the Mosquito Coast, but I was wondering if it is safe to
spend any length of time in country. I would greatly appreciate any
tips in this matter. Thank You! :)
