Just booked my flights for Belize, Guat & Costa Rica...I am pscyhed...

I was wondering how accessible bus/van transport is in Costa Rica.
I am flying into San Jose & spending the night....the following morning I was
hoping to head to Tabacon Resort in Arenal area.

My question is....where can i pick up a van or bus to take me there?
The hotel said a private driver would be 95 USD!!! Thats a lot...Any advice?

Also, how long does it typically take to get from San Jose to Arenal area?
