We visited all of the countries you have mentioned numerous times and really
liked La Ceiba(check out the Expatriot Bar and Grill) in Honduras and also
Trujillo. We felt safe in both places but that has been several years ago.
Of course we were warned by locals, not to wander off by ourselves up lonely
roads.
