Make sure you make a reservation to stay overnite at the Machu Pichu Hotel
right next to the ruins. The evenings and mornings without the crowds makes
wonderful memories -- and great pictures.
After a good sleep at the hotel get up and climb Huana Pichu.(the mountain
in the back ground of most pictures of MP). The view and facilities the
Incas had at the lookout up there are fabulous. Be sure to take your camera!
We were 62 when we went up the HP in September. We are not hikers and had
no problems. Just take your time. We met a guide half way up the mountain
and he went with us and helped us take the proper (easiest) routes. Proud
we did it!
Make reservations at the Hotel!!!!
