Make a list of your credit card information and their telephones numbers and
leave a copy of this list in your suitcase or safe inside your room or hotel
safe, and with a trusted friend at home.
Make a good copy of your passport, take one with you and leave this with a
trusted friend. In the event of a lost passport, you can have a copy fax'd
to you for temporary ID. Any US embassy will provide assistance.
