There are a number of neighborhoods in Buenos Aires that you might want to
avoid at night, but most of them are not areas where tourists would be
likely to go.

I personally would avoid La Boca, along the waterfront, except if I were
there with a tour group or during the day. "Caminito," the famous little
street that you see in many photos of Buenos Aires, is in La Boca, but I
would recommend going there during the day rather than at night.

Let me know if you have other questions; I've been to Argentina several
times (I have many relatives there who are natives).
