Ed, Good plan. I'd like to add that including Oaxaca as a last stop
before the DF is a great idea. Oaxaca has prolly the best market in all of
Mexico (IMHO). On similar trips I used to make it a point to stop in Oaxaca
at the end of the trip, buy a large burlap bag in a shop near the market, as
well as a length of rope. I would buy 50 lbs of various goods, rugs,
hammocks, leather, embroidered clothing etc, pack it all into the burlap
bag, tie it up well, and then never look at it again til I got home.Then,
when I got home, open it up like a Xmas present.......always blew my mind
how much fit in the sack, as well as all the neat stuff I forgot I had
purchased....Howard
