They enjoy being alive because a lot of them are subject very basic living
standards, every day counts..
No doubt they often wake up hungrier than you and on a more mundane diet.
They do not have the time to get bored.
Without being rude, methinks you obviously have a life which provides you
with everything
that you have never had to earn.
There is absolutely no reason why any logical thinking person should be
bored.
You have only one short life - live it. No, I am not a religous zealot or a
counsellor, I am a retired engineer living in Oz, very busy
and wondering how I ever found time to go to work .
