US$200 a month for housing, $5 every two months for water. Cable TV is
$10 month, electricty is expensive right now because the fuel
surcharge due to low water at the hydro facilities - $58. Unlimited
internet access and phone about the same as electricity. Cab fares
anywhere in town - about $1 per person. I usually walk most places and
cb home with the groceries. I haven't even calulated groceries - but
carrots were 35 cents for about a pound, same with most other locally
grown things. Chicken was under $1 a pound. Beef was anywhere from $1
to $2.50 a pound. Average dinner out - under $6. Local place raises
their own beef (they also own the supermarket) and a filet mingion is
about $5 - with soup, salad, vegetables.

Medical. I'm recovering from a broken arm and leg - private clinic,
doctor, consult with ortho, x-rays, casts (2), prescription - about
$150.

Private bilingual school - with bus transportation about $120 per
month
