sad , really, to make a decision based on frivolous reasons.
I have travelled to many countries in the world. I've had no problems
whatsoever in many so-called dangerous countries and I've had some
serious problems in so-called 'safe' countries. There is no way of
eliminating dangers and risks altogether. One simply takes reasonable
precautions, acts cautiously and goes on with doing things. Life is like
that.
Maui is a beautiful place but it doesn't have the extraordinary magical
life-changing quality of Guatemala.
Guataemala, for all kinds of reasons, is one of my favourite countries
on this earth.
