Dear Gringo,
As a N American who has traveled a lot in latin Amer. I suggest you
either buy a language tape from half.com or go to your local and
borrow one before you go. If you listen and repeat between now and
april you will know a lot of spanish. Not only is this the most useful
tool you will have it will also demonstrate the gringos are polite and
genuinely interested in latin american people. It is also really fun
to learn how to communicate with others and they will love you for it.
