I was there a few years ago, can't remember the name of the hotel.
Most were very poor but there was one that was decent. You may need to
get there and then look around. The best things I saw were Il Tatio
geyser field, a must. Also if you are there when the La Tirana
festival is happening don't miss it, it is incredible!

There was a guide there named Ramon? He is mentioned in the book Tales
from a Thin Country. We actually found him from the owner of a small
bookstore on the main drag in town.
